Keres Announces Purchase of New Building; Company Headquarters to Move to Albuquerque's Uptown A

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – February 26, 2018 – Keres Consulting, Inc., a Native American-owned

general management consulting firm that primarily serves federal, state and tribal agencies, and

NativeVet Materiel, a subsidiary of Keres that provides broad-based products and supplies to Native

American-serving agencies and organizations, announced today that the companies will relocate from

their current offices at One Sycamore Plaza to 2700 San Pedro Dr. NE in Albuquerque’s Uptown

neighborhood.

Keres purchased the new building in 2017 and expects to transition the whole of its Headquarters

location in April of this year. The company employs 15 people in the Albuquerque area.

“This project is the realization of a long-term vision of our founder and CEO, Tim Chavez,” said

Christina Tewa, Senior Vice President of Keres. “Our future office building will give our employees a

collaborative place to work, and offer our company room to grow.”

Keres Albuquerque-based Insight Construction to manage the building renovation. Insight Construction

is supported by Native American-owned Buffalo Design Architects to provide design consultation on the

building improvements. Keres will transition out of its long-time location at One Sycamore Plaza in

early April.

“As a Native American-owned company, we wanted our work space to reflect the colors and images of

Pueblo culture, while also providing our employees with space to exercise, collaborate on their

programs, and do their best work,” Tewa said. “We are anxious to join the Uptown-area business

community and neighborhood.”

First for eight consecutive years. The company’s largest customers include the Department of Defense,

Bureau of Indian Affairs, and U.S. General Services Administration. In New Mexico, Keres supports
